Yes, cupid’s out again this Friday, Valentines Day strikes again. So what do you usually buy your lover/partner? Roses, a sweet romantic valentines card, large cuddly toys, chocolates, or all of these. Some people go overboard with gifts, but save your money and show appreciation and care by writing a poem for your partner. A poem written in a card and a single red rose is romantic and sexy.
I love writing poems for K. I think I’ve dabbled in poetry four times now. I’m not a professional. I try to make the end words rhyme, and other times if I can’t be arsed, I’ll just write down my feelings. Romantic poems are perfect if you want to tell your partner how you feel. They are the ideal opportunity to propose to someone, or to express your undying love.
Poems are also spontaneous, especially if they are about you. Just think about the emotion and thought that’s gone into finding those expressive words. Bear in mind that I’m not expert in the poetry field but here’s some samples of what I’ve written in the past.
Sample 1
If I’m ever quiet or seemingly discontent
You’re not the reason, it’s just something I can’t explain
If there was cause for concern, I would confess
The way I act is not to cause you constructive distain
Though I may not say it often
Or my ignorance gives you doubt
I do think of you dearly
Although my thoughts at times head off into a drought
Gamplaying is for the weak
Why would I do that to you my friend
I’m strange, selfish at times, but you know deep down I care
Happy vibes are what you send to me so that’s what I’ll send
Try not to dwell on those days I’m deep or reflective
That’s just me in another world of thought
Likely those aspects of me you can’t contain
I’m sure by now you know I can be happy, sad, distressed, or fraught
You’re there for me, I’m there for you
4000 miles away, yes, a slight time difference but do I care? No
We found each other in mysterious ways
The magic is there between us, I want it to grow

There lives in Croydon
A hairy, handsome guy
His name is Lewis
He’s so sexy, that I can’t deny
I’ll always remember our hot times
In me, on top of you, total magic
Your kiss so divine and arousing
To never feel that again is so tragic
Enjoy you special day
My sexy skin head friend
One day I imagine the story you wrote me will be true
And you’ll be at my flat only minutes from the M60 bend
Try to dabble in a little poetry. I know these are daft but I like to make people smile. People can’t buy other people’s thoughts and they are there to cherish.
